How long
will it take me before I can start pricing work?
This
is a difficult one to answer because computer skills vary so much
between users. If you are a regular PC user then you should be
able to experiment and become familiar with the basic methods
within a few hours.
If
you already understand the principles of estimating or have used
estimating software in the past it could be faster. We often find
that once users understand the basic processes of adding and amending
data tables then they become comfortable using the system.
From
user feedback we know that some estimators have been pricing within
an hour of downloading their trial copy. In most cases we would
expect the average user to be pricing within a day of installing
the system.
