COMPOSITE RESOURCES

Bind commonly used resources together and save time

Composite Resources allow you to gather together existing resources to create a new, composite resource that can save you time when pricing work.

Composite Resources are displayed as a separate Resource Type in the Schedule Resources and Schedule Requirements listings. However their individual components are also listed under their respective Types.

A FastFind function has been included to speed resource selection. If you know the resource name (or any part of it), enter it into the highlighted Description box and press Enter to list all resources that include your search word or phrase.

Main Features

• Composites may contain as many component resources as you need.
• Components may be amended, replaced or deleted at any time.
• A trace option is available to show where a selected composite is used (libraries and schedules).
• You can replace composite resources thoughout library (See Resource Replacement).
• FastFind - Enter a key word or phrase in the last row to search for the resource you want

Tips

1. Use this library to save time selecting individual resources that are normally used together in a rate item. Examples are; labour gangs, mortar mixes etc.

Notes

1. Composite Resources cannot be exported as a separate library. They must be backed up with the rest of your data files (DATA folder).
