THE COMPOSITE ITEM LIBRARY

Save time by grouping commonly linked items together as one.

Just like Composite Resources, Composite Items allow you to gather together existing library items to create a new, composite item that will save time when pricing work.

The composite Item library is structured in exactly the same way as your standard item library.

An example may be an external wall where you select the brickwork, timber frame and plasterboard items from an existing library.

Main Features

• Composites may contain as many items as you need.
• They can be changed at any time.
• May be used in the bill as a composite or expanded into it's component items on the bill page.

To Build a Composite Item:

1. Select (or Create) a Composite Library, Section and Subsection.
2. Enter a description for the new composite item in the description box and enter a unit.
3. Click on Nett Rate to enter the item selection table
4. Select the items you need from the item library and enter a qty for each.
5. The cost for each unit is brought forward to the main table.

Tips

1. Use this library to save time selecting individual items that are normally selected together in a job.

Note: Composite Item libraries cannot be exported or imported
