Calculate the item quantity from first principles

Use this form to gather together dimensions to calculate an item quantity. This has similar functions to the traditional 'dims' sheet.
The calculation worksheet uses a simple spreadsheet style, with totals brought forward to the linear/no. cell of the quantity build up.

Main Features:

• Sub-quantity calculation option (Advanced option)
• Rounding option

Sub-Quantity Calculation: Selecting this function will open another calculation worksheet. The result of calculations in this worksheet will be brought forward to the Linear value of the original quantity calculation work sheet (i.e. You have up to 2 levels of linked calculations). Advanced option.

Rounding: When rounding is enabled the total quantity will be rounded up to the nearest whole number on the bill page (Although the calculation worksheet still shows the value to 4 decimal places). Rounding is enabled when the button is depressed.

Tips

1. Enter a short description in the Notes column so you can easily see exactly what the calculation refers to.
2. Use the Sub-quantity sheet and calculator supplied if you have a more complex structure to measure.

Notes

1. Entering Note text creates a new line, however you can simply add values and a '*' is automatically added as Note text.
