FACTORINGAvoid double entry Like many of the functions in Fast Estimate, Factoring is designed to save you time. In this case it saves time by allowing you to enter a multiplication value against each Schedule Bill. Main Features
When to use Factoring A particularly useful application of the factor option is house building. If a development of say 10 similar houses were being built, these could all be entered together (as Bills) in one Schedule. The total development costs and returns can then be calculated together as one project rather than ten separate Schedules. Each house style could be added as a separate Bill, with a factor applied for the number build of each style. Or each major component of the houses could be added as a separate Bill (e.g. Kitchens, ) and a factor applied to reflect the number of each to be built. Apply your factor values to each bill in the Schedule Summary table. Tips
