NETWORK SUPERVISOR

We recommend that every network installation is assigned a supervisor to manage the program and data. If there is no one person responsible for the correct working, updating and maintenance of the program and data, any problems may be compounded

The Supervisor should be fully trained in the set up and maintenance of a local area network.

The Supervisor should be made responsible for:

• Program installation
• Setting of user data access rights (each user needs full rights on all files)
• Management of data (incl. regular backups)
